How to apply for Tsebo jobs: step by step
Tsebo uses an online recruitment portal for all advertised positions.
Step 1: Open the Tsebo careers portal
Go to the official Tsebo careers portal:
https://tsebo.erecruit.co/candidateapp/Jobs/Browse
You can also reach it from the “Join Our Team” section on tsebo.com.
Step 2: Browse the vacancies
On the Browse page you can view jobs by category. Look under Active Vacancies for all current jobs, or check Learnerships for training opportunities. You can also use the search function to filter by job title, province or town.
Step 3: Read the job advert
Click on a vacancy to see the duties, minimum requirements and location. Only apply for jobs where you meet the requirements, because applications are screened against them.
Step 4: Register or log in
Click Apply. If it is your first time, register a candidate profile with your email address and a password. You only need to do this once. After that, log in and apply for as many vacancies as you like from the same profile.
Step 5: Complete your profile and upload your CV
Fill in your personal details, education and work history. Upload your CV and supporting documents in PDF. Make sure your phone number and email are correct because this is how Tsebo will contact you.
Step 6: Submit your application
Check everything, then submit. You will receive a confirmation email. Log in to your profile at any time to see the status of your applications.
Step 7: Apply for more than one vacancy
Tsebo advertises similar jobs at many different sites. If you are a cleaner or food service assistant, apply for every vacancy in your area, not just one.
Can you drop off a CV at a Tsebo site?
For entry-level jobs like cleaners, general assistants and food service assistants, the site manager at a specific hospital, mall, office park or mine often handles local hiring. It is worth printing a neat CV, dressing smartly, and asking to see the Tsebo site manager at buildings where Tsebo operates. Even so, always apply online as well, because the online portal is the official channel and the site manager may simply refer you back to it.
Where else Tsebo jobs are listed
Tsebo vacancies also appear on Indeed, Glassdoor, SimplyHired and LinkedIn under Tsebo Group, Tsebo Solutions Group, Fedics and Thorburn Security. These listings normally link back to the erecruit portal.
What happens after you apply
If your CV matches the vacancy, Tsebo’s recruitment team or the site manager will contact you for an interview. Depending on the job, you may also be asked for:
- A criminal record check
- PSIRA verification (security)
- A medical or food-handler check (catering and healthcare sites)
- Reference checks
If you are not contacted within a few weeks, the position has likely been filled. Keep your profile active and apply again when new vacancies open.
Warning: Tsebo does not charge fees
Tsebo never asks for payment for applications, interviews, uniforms, training or “guaranteed” jobs. Be careful of WhatsApp groups and Facebook pages that ask for money or personal details upfront. Only apply through the official erecruit portal or trusted job sites.
