How to apply for Time Link Cargo jobs
Option 1: Email your CV to the careers address
Time Link Cargo accepts CVs by email at its official careers address:
employment@timelinkcargo.com
- Attach your CV, certified ID, licence/PDP and certificates.
- Use a clear subject line, for example: Application – Code 14 Driver – Cape Town or Application – General Worker – Johannesburg.
- In the body, state the position, the branch you want to work at, your licence codes and years of experience in two or three sentences.
For general enquiries you can also use info@timelinkcargo.com, but job applications should go to the employment address.
Option 2: Apply through job portals
Time Link Cargo posts vacancies on Indeed (listed as TIME LINK CARGO / TIMELINK CARGO), PNet, LinkedIn and Jooble. Create a profile, follow the company page, and set up alerts for “Time Link Cargo” and “Code 14 driver” in your area. Portal applications normally ask you to upload your CV and answer a few screening questions.
Option 3: Visit the head office or a branch
Drivers and warehouse staff can hand in a CV at the head office at 2 Atlantic Drive, Atlantic Hills, Cape Town, or at the branch closest to them. Dress neatly, bring printed copies of your documents, and ask for HR or the depot manager. Depots often recruit drivers directly when contracts expand.
Option 4: Recruitment agencies
Time Link Cargo also uses transport recruitment agencies for driver intakes. If an agency advertises a Time Link contract, apply through the agency, but never pay a fee.
What happens after you apply
Time Link Cargo’s hiring process is quick – applicants report that it usually takes about a week. If shortlisted, you can expect:
- A phone screening or interview with HR
- Drivers: a practical driving assessment and licence/PDP verification
- Reference checks and a criminal record check
- A medical assessment for driving and warehouse posts
If you are not contacted within a few weeks, the post has likely been filled. Reapply when new vacancies are advertised.
Tips to improve your chances
- Drivers: mention superlink, tautliner and refrigerated experience clearly, and state that you are available for long-distance work.
- List any dangerous goods, defensive driving or forklift certificates.
- Apply to the branch nearest you and say so in the subject line.
- Keep your PDP and licence up to date – expired documents are the most common reason applications are rejected.
- Follow the Time Link Cargo Facebook page for “Now Hiring” posts.
Never pay to apply
Time Link Cargo does not charge for applications, medicals, uniforms or training. Beware of WhatsApp and Facebook posts asking for a “registration fee” to secure a driving job. Apply only through the official employment email, the head office, trusted job portals or a registered agency.
Summary
To apply for a Time Link Cargo job, prepare your CV with your licence codes and experience, attach certified copies of your ID, licence and certificates, and email them to employment@timelinkcargo.com with the position and branch in the subject line. You can also apply through Indeed and PNet or drop your CV at the Cape Town head office. Drivers with a valid Code 14 and PDP, and warehouse workers who can work shifts, are in constant demand.
